Lalitkala Campus is the first college for fine arts in Nepal which was established in 1934 A.D. Students had no option and had to travel to abroad for taking higher level education in fine arts and for that reason Lalitkala Campus was established. It is conducting bachelor level in fine art under the faculty of Humanities and Social Science . It offers Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Music, Painitng, Sculpture and Graphic Communication, Dance. Lalitkala Campus is located at Bhotahity, Kathmandu, Nepal. Tribhuvan University provides a bachelor’s degree in the field of arts and design, which is termed as Bachelors of Fine Arts (BFA). This course falls under the faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The total time required by the students to complete this course is 4 years.
The Branch of Arts offers its students mainly focusing on training in the visual expressions for far reaching education experience. The aim of this course is to develop the student’s creative potential and the artistic factor in them .
